Demands of Engineers & managers are increasing consistently. Government of India has undertaken various projects & schemes such as Make in India, Digital India, Startup India, Smart cities, Auto clusters, Electronics Clusters, etc to promote manufacturing in India. The Engineers have career opportunities in various fields such as: Government sectors like BSNL, AIR, National Laboratories, Civil Aviation, Air Traffic Control, State Electricity Board, PWD, Irrigation, Town Planning, Water Resource Dept. (WRD), Road Transport, DRDO, Defence Sector, CIDCO, Indian Railway, BHEL, NTPC, Coal India and many more. Also there are private companies offering career in IOTs, Machine learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence(AI), CAD Design, GIS, Data Science, Telecom. Industries, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Machine Design, Industrial Automation, Robotics, E-Vehicles, Automobile, Mechanical Design & manufacturing Industries, human resources, finance, Hospital Administration, production & Operations etc. Teaching career is also rewarding, one can prefer to be a full time professor in engineering college, MBA college, university or can do research work by joining Ph.D. program, so choosing post SSC Diploma, Post HSC Engineering field & Management field (after any graduation) are nothing but opening the doors of a great future.
